Emerald Tree Boa Most Beautiful Snake
An emerald tree boa is a stunning sight with two varieties, the Suriname and the Amazon. Both are yellow-green with white spots. The skin looks something like fresh leaves spotted with bird droppings. Occasionally, there are yellow spots, too. The emerald tree boa has a reputation for being a hard snake to keep in captivity. The babies are red and turn green as they mature. Adults grow to about 6 feet or 1.8 m in length. It has highly developed front teeth that are likely proportionately larger than those of any other non-venomous snake.
