Burmese Python or Python molurus bivittatus, is the largest subspecies of the Indian Python and one of the 6th largest snakes in the world. This snake is native to rain forest areas of Southeast Asia. The Burmese python average growing up to 5.5 meters (18 ft) and weighing up to 71 kilograms (160 lb). It continues to grow throughout its life
 Burmese Pythons, because of their docile nature and undemanding requirements, are among the most suitable of the large snakes as captive animals. It's been more than 35 years since I got my first Burmese, and the species still remains my favorite.
There's no denying the popularity of the Burmese python. And as long as you're sure you have the space to properly house one, you, too, should be able to discover why I still like them so much, after all these years.

 The Brazilian Rainbow Boa (Epicrates cenchria chenchria) is just one of the 9 subspecies of rainbow boas, but it is the most common one found in the pet trade. It is a medium sized snake rarely getting longer than seven feet. Colors vary for the different subspecies, but the Brazilian is often orange with black rimmed circles along its back.

Brazilian Rainbow Boas are one of the worlds most beautiful snakes. Living in the humid tropical forests of South America, this nocturnal snake feeds on small mammals and birds.
The Brazilian Rainbow Boa reaches an average length of about 5 feet and is a beautiful snake to keep as a pet. The Brazilian Rainbow Boa isn't really recommended for a complete novice to snake keeping, due to its high humidity requirements and more variable temperament.
